Plus Jakarta Sans comes in seven weights, which offers 14 styles in total, counting italics. Its slightly taller x-height and open counters ensure exceptional readability across various sizes, making it equally effective for headlines, body text, or UI elements​
Style
To ensure consistency and strike the correct visual balance of modern and mature, please follow the guiding principles below.
Headline
We use Plus Jakarta Sans with a -4% letter spacing for big headlines and -2% for smaller ones.
Sub copy
For sub header a -2% letter spacing and for body copy -1% or 0% letter spacing wherever applicable.
To establish a clear hierarchy, choose the right typeface pairings. Use Extra-Bold, Bold or Semi-Bold for headings, and Medium, Regular, or Light for Sub-Copy. Our typeface shines in both large and small sizes, we recommend going big for bold headlines. We emphasize key points in the copy by doubling the font weight. For example, if the main text is regular, the highlights will be at least semibold or heavier.
